"Today a reader, tomorrow a leader." Check out what happens when you leave children in charge.
The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. is an organization that lives what we believe in and that is providing our community's most precious resource-the children-with the opportunity to grow and thrive in a quality early learning program. Our mission is a simple one, so simple we asked our very own VPKers to recite it for us! Take a look.
Ever wonder what your children are learning in Pre-K? We invite you to spend "A Day in VPK" with us and discover why Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten is so necessary! VPK is FREE! Enroll your child today.
There is no better way to ignite a child's imagination than with a story, unless of course, you can make that story come to life. The Coalition does exactly that at its largest, most enchanting event, Storybook Forest. Early educators from Pasco and Hernando counties combine efforts to offer nearly 4,000 children and families interactive displays based on children's favorite books. For some children, this is the first time they are presented a book to hold in their hands. Check out this video of an inside look at the entirely free event where storytellers provoke imaginations of many as they awaken children's favorite tales under a captivating labyrinth of trees.
The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. continues to build for the future as witnessed by nearly 900 attendees at its 8th Annual Early Learning Conference on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Bishop McLaughlin High School in Spring Hill, Florida. The Annual Conference has become a fall tradition in the Tampa Bay area for Early Educators to come together and grow as Early Learning professionals.
